Seems pretty irrational to say “woke” is teaching the actual history of the U.S.A. which is a complex topic.

For example, PragerU (Candace Owens narrative a video which) reduced it [slavery] to everyone being a willing participant and went as far to say White people ended slavery. And then they attribute corrections on that narrative, from actual historians, as an attempt to make White people feel guilty about being White. They can’t define Critical Race Theory (CRT), but I suppose that syntax no longer matters either; if anything looks like it’s CRT — you can accuse the left of introducing it to kids.

If there’s a fringe group in left circles arguing that White people should ; no one would or should seriously prop that up as a complete framework that people actually want to see taught in schools.

The right is, however, taking their framework e.g. the work of PragerU, and has introduced it as PragerU Kids for schools in Florida.

So be as it may that the left is invoking an emotional response; these conservatives are parading around the old Untied States that isn’t coming back and are blaming it on indoctrination so they can indoctrinate kids. They are then adopting it directly into legislation and the school curriculum.
